Stephanie Cavalli of La Garçonne
We had the extreme pleasure of working with Stephanie Cavalli for this year's product photography shoots. Stephanie is a dream come true. I saw her in Central Park in Honesdale years ago playing on the swing set with her boys. I actually drove around the park, stopped, and got out of my car. I went up to her and introduced myself and asked if she would ever be interested in modeling for us. We were - and still are - always looking for real people to model for us. (Little did I know she was actually a real model!) I gave her my card and then let the universe take over. It took a few years but the universe eventually connected us again and here we are!
Someone else might have found shooting on location at Ginger a bit challenging. Stephanie understood and loved every musty, dusty inch of it! And we absolutely loved working with her! Stephanie also provided us with the vintage pieces we styled with for this year's photo shoots (all shown here)...those overalls stole the show!
Besides being an amazing mother and talented model, Stephanie has an exquisite eye and passion for vintage and antique clothing. She recently returned from a trip to Rome and brought back quite an impressive trove of unique and gorgeous finds. You can visit Stephanie's vintage shop La Garçonne in Callicoon NY or check out her Instagram feed for inspiration.
